in other news, I went home this weekend to hang out with my parents and see my mama for her birthday. they bought me a drink over dinner at Texas Roadhouse on Friday and we all cheers-ed to my being 21. I also finally took a trip to the hair salon and cut off about 1 1/2 inches of split ends. I feel like a new person! with healthy hair again! Saturday night we made an excursion to the movie theater to see Skyfall; it was a great movie, but I still haven't quite decided if I really liked it. the whole thing seemed a bit too sleek and maybe generic to really hit home for me as James Bond. outside of M and the Aston Martin cameo, I just had this feeling that this could have been any modern action-thriller type movie. that being said, I did really enjoy this movie and thought it was very well-made.
also, you know you're in Alabama when the entire movie audience has a panic attack over the way Javier Bardem's character first interacts with James Bond. yeah.

Hahaha! "No-shave November" huh? I have to admit, it IS rather nice when the shorts and sundresses get packed away and we can have a little more loose of a shave schedule :-)! Happy Monday to you!
Could not have said it better myself. I went to an all girls school for high school and we NEVER shaved. (unless we were going to the all boys school for a football game or something) I appreciate smooth legs more than anybody ;-)
Happy 21st! (Best age ever.) That's too funny about shaving. So true too. :P

I never go to the cinema here, never. Mostly because only a handful of movies are shown in VO and I have to travel almost an hour to Aix to see them, but next Friday we're going to see Skyfall, I can't wait! And now I'm super intrigued about this Javier Bardem scene!
